Description

Farmed meagre, also known as Corvina, is a popular fish species that is widely farmed in the Mediterranean region. It has a distinctive, elongated shape with a silver-grey color on the upper side and a white-silver color on the lower side. Its scales are medium-sized and are firmly attached to the skin, which has a slimy texture. Meagre is less well known than its counterparts, seabass and seabream, but is a good, sustainable whitefish choice.
