Description
Consists of small pieces of truffle of the order of a few millimeters in diameter that detach from the truffle itself during harvesting or washing. - In the frozen line, the chopped black winter truffle is available in 200 gr. - The black winter truffle(Tuber melanosporum Vittadini) is harvested from December to late March. -It has a warty peridium (rind) of an opaque black color; the warts are not very pronounced depressed at the top and at the base have reddish hues. - The pulp is purplish-black in color crossed by numerous and thin white veins that become black during sterilization.
