Description

Camembert has a smooth shape with a beautiful striated surface and a velvety white rind with red pigmentation. This cheese is made in the Normandy region and has a rustic flavor with a pleasant bouquet, the moist soil giving it a fruity taste.

They are the most well-known cheese of Normandy. Its name is connected to that of Marie Harel who, in 1791, on the advice of a priest, perfected an original cheese improving the making of local cheese.
